The Nookery Café, which seats up to 120 people, is set against an impressive backdrop of jarrah and marri forest. It has a rustic, cosy charm, both inside the cottage style building and outside under the shady pergola or on the all weather alfresco patio by the fish pond. There is also a grassy play area with swings for children and meals especially for them.

Busselton born Johnathon Merrick replaced Adam Le Gallez as our Head Chef in October 2021. Adam had headed up our kitchen team for the past five years and we were sorry to see him go, at the same time wishing him all the very best with his new venture running a restaurant of his own. At a time of chef shortages we were so fortunate to secure Johnathon to follow in Adam’s footsteps. We first appointed Jono as Sous Chef but within a week it was evident that he was suitably qualified and experienced to be offered the promotion. Johnathon has held positions at many local cafes and restaurants, with a couple of stints in the north west of the state. He is extremely passionate about his career as a chef, is highly organised and motivated. We are looking forward to the introduction of some of his favourite dishes on both our breakfast and lunch menus and to his boosting our reputation further for tasty, wholesome food at reasonable prices.
